SpaceExplorer for MATLAB R2007a

Post by matlab_dev » Tue Jul 01, 2008 1:20 pm

I am trying to use SpaceExplorer for MATLAB R2007a. Is it possible to define a MATLAB callback function that would be called when the 3D mouse if used? This would be akin to a MOTIONEVENT for xevents.

If this is not possible, then can we define the 3D mouse to generate discrete events? For example, every time the "mouse" is moved for positive horizontal panning, character "a" is generated and dumped as keypress event.

Thanks for your help,

P.S. I was able to compile and modify the SDK provided for Linux. This post for extending the usability to MATLAB.
