I have my 3dconnexion spacenavigator all working dandy on Ubuntu 9.0.4.

Great!

So where are all the applications? Are logitech not letting other developers play with their toys or something?

Hi abssorb,

thank you for your interest. We have an SDK for Unix/Linux, too. See our SDK page. Application manufacturers are free to use our SDK to implement support for our 3D mice into their application.

When you want to see support for our 3D mouse in your favourite application you should contact the manufacturer of the application and ask for it. The more requests from customer's side the more pressure on the producers.
