As mentioned here, version 10.7.4 of 3DxWare 10 is supported in macOS 13 "Ventura".

If you are having a problem using your 3Dconnexion device in a supported version of macOS -- currently macOS versions 10.15 through 13, you may want to reach out to the Technical Support service (contact details here).

Thanks for coming back @ngomes

After a bit of digging I think Ive found a fix. At least for me anyway...

System settings > 3dconnexion > Wireless device manager

The space should be showing as as connected.

Unpair the Spacemouse by clicking the X on hover. Then just re-pair it.

All working!

This is unexpected. The panel is showing a device has connected but it only worked after pairing it again.

@krishowes, thanks for taking the time to share this information with us. We will keep it in mind to see if others similarly affected are also using a wireless SpaceMouse device.

Hello. By opening System Settings>3Dconnexion (Settings pane) there is no such a menu called "Wireless device manager". Can you please elaborate on where you found it?

@gnomes

Not sure if this is normal either…

I work between two machines. A Mac and PC.
An unpair/re-pair is necessary every time I switch between them.

Not a huge problem but food for thought - maybe

How do you switch between the two machines?

They're in two different buildings so just move the space mouse from one desk to another.

In that scenario, yes, you will need to pair your SpaceMouse each time you move it to the other system. The wireless bound is a specific linkage between receiver and device. In other words, a wireless SpaceMouse can only be paired to a single receiver at any one time.

You can also operate the SpaceMouse over a cable. Perhaps that's a more convenient way to have the device shared across multiple systems and it can keep the battery charged for usage on the system where the receiver is connected.

Just managed to get it working with Ventura 13.6.4 and 3Dconnexion version 10.8.3. It's been taking me months to get here.

What I had do:
- uninstall old driver
- reboot in Command-R (recovery mode)
- do a recovery of OS
- reboot
- go into terminal
- type: csrutil disable - will only go into effect after a reboot
- type: reboot
- install 3Dconnexion driver
- Press Allow (yes this time, for the first time it showed up)
- test it
- reboot with command-R
- go to terminal
- type: csrutil enable - will only go into effect after reboot
- type: reboot
- the popup window that ask to go into the security setting still show up still shows up to click on allow. Just kill the process (right click on connectHome)
- start app (fusion 360 in my case)
- it works !
