I have discovered that my Z and y axes have become swapped when using the Space Navigator (v 1.5. in Poser 7 and 8.
Spin is now roll, and roll is now spin.
Z pan is now Y pan (up), and Y pan is now Z pan (zoom).
Tilt (x rotation) and X pan are unchanged. Changing the preferences for Poser 7 or 8 does not change anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software to try and change things, to no effect. I have also reinstalled the plug-ins.
I am running Mac OS X 10.6.2.

Results of Switching Your Zoom Settings
Dear Twclark6,
Have you tried switching your zoom settings under the 'Device' Tab in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel?
What results do you have in our demos?
Sincerely,
Bryan g.

Dear Twclark6,
I was hoping there would be some difference, at least in the demos. When you change your zoom settings, you should be making quite a few changes among the six degrees of motion.
Sincerely,
Bryan

Sorry, mis-understood your directions. I swapped the Zoom functions in the demo, and that did change.Bryan wrote:Dear Twclark6,

Also, reversing the axes does have an impact in Poser. However deselecting either the roll/tilt or pan/zoom functions does not have an effect in Poser. Changing those settings did have an effect in the demos.
