SpaceNavigator won't work in Maya 2010

Hi, I'm running 10.6.2 Snow Leopard and a trial version of Maya 2010.

However, my SpaceNavigator won't respond in Maya. The buttons work, the control pannel is installed properly. I've been working with Sketchup and my SpaceNavigator works like a charm.

I searched for this problem on Google and saw a few old topics with the same problems. I tried typing: MagellanStartup; in MEL. Didn't do anything.

I have the following scripts in the scripts folder:
C3DxButtonEditor.mel
C3DxControlPanel.mel
C3DxMapping.mel
MagellanStartup.mel
usersetup.mel

I run MacOS in 32 bit mode.

You may want to check with Autodesk and see if they have enabled the Addin feature in the Trial version of Maya.

Alot of trial applications dont allow add-ins.
