For me it is not 100% useless.
3D nubby works, everything else works too for me,
it is just to risky to use as I can't see my functions assigned,
as the Screen stays dark on my Enterprise.

Of course I can't edit my settings in driver panel too.

Not happy with macOS driver release cycles either.
(I was already clear that the driver doesn't work that way with new kext and
privilege policy in High Sierra)
But I hope if there are larger works on the driver, that we Mac Users will finally
get feature parity with Windows Users - Display Icons.

This is causing a lot of problems for a lot of people. Do you have an ETA on the new driver?

Looks like Enterprise's Display works again after macOS 10.14.1 Update.
I see my usual Button Texts.

Driver Panel reacts but does still not show any devices - but brings a 32 bit Warning
for the Check Update.

Come on, guys! It's now over a month since the release of macOS Mojave (not to mention months of public beta before that). They just released the first update to Mojave. You are pretty much creating a self-destroying attitude that will ensure you never have growth in you Mac customer base.

I was very happy to see that there is finally an updated driver for Mac OS available. But I installed it, and it does not work. In System Preferences: 3Dconnexion there is still "No Device Found". And in Sketchup, when activating the 3DxSketchUp Extension, the application starts eating memory, and my Space Navigator does not work.

Driver 10.6.0 (released on 31/10/2018)
https://www.3dconnexion.eu/service/drivers.html

Didn't change a thing for me. Still running into the same issues others are encountering.
- Device can not be found
- No functionality, except for basic cursor movement within Sketchup, 3D connexion viewer/trainer and other programs I use with this product.

Removed driver, reinstall driver, restart+command R and terminal and all that.

As a designer and engineer I'm dependent on the tools I use for work efficiency. Right now im dead in the water with this product and have to work slower with just a normal mouse.

I've read all the posts and information I can find online regarding 3DConnexion and Mojave and I can't seem to find anything that works up until this point.

I'm sure your team is on top of the situation, but you guys are way behind other companies that had to resolve issues regarding Mojave.

FRUSTRATING!

OK, I discovered a Mojave update,14.1, so I installed that.
Then I reinstalled 3DC drivers again, and restarted for that.
No change.
So I can't think of anything else to try. It doesn't even work in Viewer.

Hello RicoHo,

sorry for the problems. We assume that this is related to the resolution that you have. Does your mac have a retina display?

We are tracking this issue with our internal bug tracking number #MAC-72.

Vielen Dank an 3DConnexion !

I do have a retina display. On a iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014, 4 GHz Intel Core i7, AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2048 MB). You have tested the new driver, but not on one with a retina display? Seriously?
