I just installed the latest version of 3Dconnexion software and system preference pane for Mac OS and restarted my Mac. I have a CadMouse connected via USB. The mouse can move the cursor but clicking the mouse button does nothing.
When I launch 3Dconnexion Home I am asked to open the Security and Privacy pane and click the “Allow” button next to 3Dconnexion S.A.M. But I am not told which section of Security and Privacy to do this in. Either way, 3Dconnexion S.A.M. does not appear in any section.
The3Dconnexion preference pane does not appear to recognize the mouse. The device shown when I open the pane is a knob. In the Tools section of the pane I see “No Device Found.”
