Can't find preferences advanced settings switch modes

Trying to find the advanced settings in 3DC preferences to try out switching modes. i.e Object Mode, Camera Mode, Target Camera Mode, Helicopter Mode. Not seeing an advanced settings choice. (M1 Mac SketchUp 2021)

I suppose what you described should be done within the software SU itself.
