Is there a simple troubleshooting guide?

Hello,
I am using Mac OS 10.15.7 (Catalina). I have by now installed the SpaceMouse four times. In two out of the four, the device works for a while, and then dies a silent death: it is recognized by the dongle, added to the list of supported devices (together with my CadMouse)... but no response whatsoever, as judged by the Trainer, demos game, etc.. Totally unresponsive.

Other data:
* All Privay and Safety privileges already added
* Full battery
* Both plugged and unplugged (No difference)

Is there a troubleshooting wizard/document, or any kind of help?
Devices as mission-critical and as expensive as the SM, and CMP MUST have a simple way for the user to solve these problems. Please advice
