Big Sur 11.1
Re: LATEST DRIVER 10.6.7 CANNOT INSTALL
The error you are seeing ("You cannot install 3Dconnexion Software on this location") is the expected behaviour when attempting to install driver v. 10.6.7 on macOS 11 and newer.
For macOS 11 and newer, driver version 10.7.0 is required. The new driver is currently in beta (more details here).
Re: LATEST DRIVER 10.6.7 CANNOT INSTALL
Ok, I have the beta and was told a version release will be out in December and have been checking daily as the buttons do not work.
I did not see the Beta link and thought it was the new release.
Thank you

C'mon mouse manufacturer. Now I have to wait longer for 10.7.0? My mouse is dead waiting. Might switch to a new Logitech.
Re: LATEST DRIVER 10.6.7 CANNOT INSTALL
It's never easy to find. That's why we added the OS version check in the installer precisely to avoid installing an invalid driver.
Unfortunately, the installer message of "cannot install xyz in this location" isn't particularly helpful.

Re: LATEST DRIVER 10.6.7 CANNOT INSTALL
Hello everyone,
I have the same problem as the Thread owner.
I downloaded the latest drivers from the 3D Connexion download page, opened the installer and are not allowed to select any drive.
I guess, that some OS X security features are active and prevent the installation.
My special challenge:
I have OS X Yosemite (10.10.5) on my computer and I am looking desperately for any legacy drivers. Everywhere you find the info " ... to go to the 3D Connexion drivers archive" - but there you'll only find one (!) driver available: The latest. Old drivers or legacy drivers = no have!
I don't understand, why there is an archive, if you cannot find any older drivers listed. Not everybody uses the latest OS X ...
So please tell me: Where can I get the Spacenavigator drivers for OS X Yosemite? And yes, I have an older Spacenavigator, bought used online.
Thank you

For OS X 10.10, you will need version 10.6.4 of 3DxWare 10 or older.DominikBach wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 4:50 pm I have OS X Yosemite (10.10.5) on my computer and I am looking desperately for any legacy drivers. Have a word with our Technical Support team (contacts here). They should be able to find the software you're looking for.

You should find the older drivers in the driver archive :
