Enterprise not recognizing Sketchup till reconnected

Post by Savvy Design »

In order for my spacemouse enterprise (3DxMacCore 1.1.5 / 3DxWare 10.6.6 / Firmware 4.42) to recognize Sketchup (Pro 2020 version 20.1.228) I have to remove the USB and reconnect it after launching Sketchup. Not a big deal, but getting old. Would someone kindly point out my mistake and how I can correct it? I've searched the web several times to no avail. Thanks!

Hi Savvy Design,

which version of macOS do you have?

If you are using Big Sur already (macOS 11.x) see here.
If you are on Catalina (15.15.x) or lower we recommend to install the current driver which is 3DxWare 10.6.7.

In case the driver update doesn't solve the problem I recommend to contact our Technical Support Team.

Hi UtaSH,

Thanks for the tip! It's a little embarrassing that I'm just now checking for a response, low expectations. I have a new iMac and a problem with my spacemouse enterprise (3DxMacCore 1.2 / 3DxWare 10.7 / Firmware 4.42) on Big Sur. The modifier keys (ALT and SHIFT) refuse to be programmed.

Thanks!
