SpaceMouse Wireless Big Sur IdeaMaker not working

Post by LanaiBoy »

Running MacOS Big Sur 11.2.1, 3DxMacCore version 1.2.0 (100), 3DxWare 10.7.0 (3295), SpaceMouse Wireless Firmware 0.00. Fusion 360 works fine, IdeaMaker (supported by Raise3D) not working at all. In IdeaMaker preferences, "Enable 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse support (Experimental)" box checked. IdeaMaker/SpaceMouse Wireless worked fine with Catalina. Any suggestions?

We're not familiar with Raise3D's ideaMaker. We don't even know if they use our driver API.

Perhaps is worth having a word with Raise3D and see if they are aware of the issue. If they are using the driver API, we may need to step in but if they are using a system interface (like Second Life / Firestorm), then there's nothing we can do.

If you still have access to a macOS 11.15.x system, you can try using ideaMaker with and without the driver installed. If the program uses the 3D mouse but the driver is not installed, then only the application vendor can resolve a problem.
