Spacemouse Wireless 3DX-600044 or 3DX-600066

Post by patticarl »

Hi everyone,
I just purchased my first 3D Connexion Spacemouse and I love it!
I bought model #3DX-600066. However, the bottom of the actual device shows #3DX-600044. Is this normal?
I researched for an answer but so far I have found nothing.
Thanks!

One of them is packaging model number, the other is device model number. It doesn't matter as long as you can use the device.

This is actually not true. The packaging numbers start with 7 (3DX-700 ...).

Are you sure about the numbers? Because that's quite a difference. The 3DX-600044 is the SpaceMouse Wireless and the 3DX-600066 is a CadMouse Pro Wireless Left.

Which number do you see on the packaging?

patticarl actually meant 3DX-700066, not 3DX-600066, the SpaceMouse Wireless with black carry case, .
The SpaceMouse Wireless without black carry case has model number 3DX-600044. When the SpaceMouse Wireless with carry case as new packaging released for sale, the model number is changed from 3DX-600044 to 3DX-700066 on the package, while the actual model number on the device itself is 3DX-600044.
