Battery life not displaying on Mac - CADMouse Compact Wireless

Post by jshbrwn »

I am unable to see the battery life of my new CADmouse compact wireless on my Mac, see attached images. It doesn't matter if the mouse is plugged in via USB or connected via bluetooth the battery life will not show. Any advice?

FYI - I have a SpaceMouse and that shows the battery just fine in System Preferences.

No need to read the battery life, when CadMouse Compact Wireless' battery life reaches less than 10%, the LED light will turn red, indicating the need to recharge. So that's it.

Connect your CadMouse with a cable, go to System Preferences, open the "Bluetooth" pane and turn Bluetooth off and then back on. Disconnect the cable to use your CadMouse over Bluetooth once again. Check if the battery level is now reported.

Alternatively, simply reboot your system.
