Rename the keyboard shortcut?

Post by mikeyv »

Any way to change the rename the keyboard shorcut? I'm using this for Sketchup that lets you assign custom keyboard shortcuts, so I assigned Shift/G to delete All Guidelines, then I created a shortcut on my SpaceMouse Enterprise, but I don't remember what they do, all I see is (Keystroke shift+g). I'm sure I will memorize them all in the future, but it would be great if we could RENAME the keyboard shortcut for the SpaceMouse.

Hello mikeyv ,

You would actually need to create a Macro in which it will allow you to give it a name and it will record the keystrokes.
- Open 3Dconnexion Home
- Click on Settings
- Make sure its showing your application name on the top of our setting window
- Click on Buttons
- Select any button then click on the right arrow ">" to show the dropdown list of folders. You should see a folder named Macro
- Click on Macro folder and scroll down then Choose NEW MACRO
- You will be able to give the new Macro a name and the keystrokes
- It will save automatically after pressing Save
- Test it
