SpaceMouse: Axes > Mapping - Problems (under macOS Big Sur)

Post by mk2021 »

Hello 3DC team,

I already sent two feedbacks (months ago), so I will try here :)

SpaceMouse Wireless: Axes > Mapping - Problems (under macOS Big Sur)

When trying to:
-- -- -- -- --
Mapping: 2D Mouse

Mouse action: Click or Click Lock

Mode: Press and Hold
-- -- -- -- --

Double click (normal, fast nor slow clicking) - Does not work!

Click Lock: Does not work!
-- -- -- -- --

They usually work under macOS Mojave without a problem but the same configuration does not work under Big Sur.

I am not being able to fix and upgrade my computer, because the new MacBook Pro with M1 chip minimum OS is macOS Big Sur (OS Mojave not possibe to intall).

Since the Beta version has not being update in a long time...
I really need those two Mouse actions to work properly, can you help me?
How can I fix it myself (work around)?

Thanks you for the help!

After the latest update (Version 10.7.0 r3386 – Beta 20 – published on 19/10/2021) it works flawless!

Thank you so much 3Dconnexion team!

I am a long time user of SpaceMouse and use the SpaceMouse Enterprise mainly with Blender and ZBrush on my Macbook Pro.
I recently began using Unreal Engine 5 for the first time and was dismayed to discover I cannot use my SpaceMouse with it. But today I found this post and am happy to find out that it is possible.

So I just downloaded the 10.7.0 r3386 – Beta mentioned in this post and installed it.
I could however not see in the application list a Unreal Engine configuration. I started Unreal Engine but could not use the SpaceMouse at all, and I could not find anywhere to configure anything.

Could you please tell me how I can use my SpaceMouse Enterprise with UE5 on my Mac?

Thank you
