NOT sure this is relevent. i did discover a DEXT file that was a pointer i assume to the original one.. but it errors out and i can't delete the old pointer shortcut file even with sudo..

Ventura Public Beta too.

For the first time larger problems with PB.
Just because I have Little Snitch Fire Wall which was not yet ready in stable version.
Meant no more network connections and Internet Access - except for mail.
But I found a early build version of LS which finally works.
Not that easy to download or copy over - without internet and networks though :)

OK, so Ventura PB as basically fine as usual.
Nevertheless bringing Little Snitch to work was not that easy and same for 3DConnexion
Driver. Needed lots of reboots and fiddling. It would only show my old Space Navigator
but not my CADMouse.
But as I do not had to install 3DCon Driver from scratch it now works for me.
So I assume my Enterprise would also work.

what else dod you need to do? in my case i tried normal install hit the allow 2 times one for each part of the driver and then got blocked at the weird ! dialog
forced quit settings and rebooted...still no luck...so next i uninstalled disabled gatekeeper all together set to allow drivers from "anywhere" which then showed up..tried installing again...same situation didn't seem to make any difference sadly

Update,

no, the Driver does not work correctly.
After each restart of Ventura the driver is off or deactivated.
I can reactivate the driver by opening Ventura Settings and go to 3DCon Tab.
But then it will only show my old Space Navigator.

To also reactivate my CADMouse I need to plug it off/on again.

I just sent a private message with detailed instructions in an attempt to get rid of that symlink (which may indeed be blocking the driver installation). We're recommending to try to delete the symlink in "Recovery mode".

We don't see this.

After rebooting, is the "3DconnexionHelper" program running? You can check this using Activity Monitor.

If it is not running, can you please check if you can find the following file in your system:

/Library/LaunchAgents/com.3dconnexion.helper.plist

This is the file used to start the driver automatically.

Are you perhaps using a dongle or external USB hub?

I can confirm that
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.3dconnexion.helper.plist
exists

I will check after next reboot if "3DconnexionHelper" program is running automatically or not.
So far I would have assumed it will not but start when I open Driver tab in System Settings,
as it takes a bit of time and shakes until it shows the Space Navigator.
As said, the CADMouse needs an extra plug out/in to also awake.
(But It works as a Mouse - without extra button assignments - so maybe the driver is already running partly ?)

And are you using a dongle or an external USB hub to connect your CadMouse to the machine?

Yes. But for the Space Navigator too.

I only have 2 USBA ports on my M1 Mini.
1 is needed for the Wacom Cintiq, 2. for the Hub.
Basically no chance for a direct USB input.

But I will try the Hub on the Wacom.

Two ports should allow you to test using both the SpaceNavigator and the CadMouse to rule out any USB hub shenanigans.

Sadly .... was able to ditch that stuck symlink... but uninstall / reinstall later.. still got only one allow not 2 and still showing the error in 3dconnexion home.. and here we are.. same as before.. it just really doesn't like me! - i sent you a followup msg..
Maybe a remote session might be useful.. i'm game if you think it would help.

Something appears to be blocking the DriverKit Extension software (dext). If you are not using an MDM tool (like Jamf Pro or similar), then we're running out of ideas to explain why the software refuses to load in your system.

Your case is the only one we are aware and does not appear to be related to macOS 13 ("Ventura").

Just to confirm, would it be possible to share a screenshot of the "Security & Privacy" pane in System Preferences?

The dialogue with only the "Security & Privacy" icon and an "OK" button appears to have been fixed in macOS 13 Beta 3. This is still subject to confirmation.
