CadMouse Pro speed very low after return from sleep

Post by infinitytrapdoor »

Hi,

can anyone confirm the following behaviour or can provide a solution?

Problem:
When my Mac goes to sleep and wakes up again, the CadMouse Pro movement speed is very very slow.

Fix:
Disconnect the mouse from the USB port and reconnect it.

Configuration:
macOS Monterey 12.6 on a Mac Studio (2022) with an Apple M1 Max chip
3DxMacCore version 1.2.4.307 (307)
3DxWare version 10.7.4 (3493)
CadMouse Pro firmware 1.08

Thank you!

Are you using an external hub? If so, try a direct connection if your Mac has a USB-A port.

I can confirm this since one of the latest Public Betas of Ventura.
AFAIK it did not happen again with the latest PB.

The solution was to click for one time first, then the mouse speed
was as expected again here.

I can't remember to have seen that before.

The mouse is connected directly to the Mac.

That didn't work, I'm afraid.
But thank you!

Im having the same issue. I go to the 3dconnexion settings and adjust the mouse speed to bring it back.

This happens with Bluetooth Cadmouse too. Switching it off and back is the workaround
