Re: Remote Desktop use of local Space Navigator
Hello together,
I am new in this Forum and all of your hints where very helpfull.
I work with Inventor over remote (WIN10) and the 3D Space Mouse compact did all what she had to to, but if I rotate my object and want to stop it still rotating or moving for a few times. Is there a possibilty to makek some settings for the movements?
It will be very helpfull.
Many thanks in Advance for answers.
cheers Bibo

Not sure how to edit my last post but as a correction:
1. The enable setting needs to be on the client machine (home laptop for me) and the disable setting needs to be on the host machine (work desktop for me)
So two changes with gdpedit required, one on host and one on client
Also I needed to do a full restart on my client (home laptop) machine but only needed a gpupdate /force on my host (work desktop) machine

this issue was introduced with 3DxWare 10.6.6 and is now fixed with 3DxWare 10.6.7 which was released yesterday. You can find it on our download site.

this might be a problem of the remote setup. Do you have a chance to test the device locally? In a NON-remote setup? Just to make sure there is no problem with the device itself.

Thats great news if it has. I'll ask the IT guy to try out on the Azure remote desktop.UtaSH wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 5:30 amHi antonynealrobinson, antonynealrobinson wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 4:57 am Has anyone yet solved the left hand ctrl, shift type keys not working?

Re: Remote Desktop use of local Space Navigator
Hey Uta,
thanks for the quick Response.
When I work in Office (Inventor Navis and AutoCAD) and at home in local Operation (Navis and AutoCAD) it is working well.
Only when I work remote with Inventor and Navis this will happen.
At the Moment our IT will download latets Driver and intall it.
If you have other solution I am open for everything
cheers Bibo

Hey Uta,
we have installed latest Driver, but the effect is still the same.
Local everythink fine / remote is the model still turning after left mouse alone (approx. 1-2 sec.)
Maybe you have another Idea.
Many thanks in Advance and have a nice day and keep well and fit.

Hello,
I can confirm that the latest driver 10.6.7 does not solve the ctrl shift key problem.
I have installed new driver both locally & on rdp azure and it is still the same.
