What buttons mappings are you trying to set?
Do you have the toolbar enabled in solidworks so when you go to change the button mapping in the 3DControl panel it will allow the button to be assigned and working.
If you are making macros in solidworks to assign a keyboard button.
You then have to make a macro in the 3DXware control panel
go to start, programs 3dconnexion , 3dconnexion 3dxware
show 3dxware control panel
select button configuration
create a custom function
give it a name and then click on the keyboard button.
clic ksave
next open the solidworks 3dcontrol panel locate the macro you created and assign it to a button.
