Spacenavigator working with Windows 7

Is there anyone who has the Spacenavigator within Windows 7?
The latest driver (with Vista support) should be sufficient, but I can't get the Spacenavigator working.

I have the same problem - the led's on the navigator are not lit up & when I try to start the driver nothing happens - if I pick stop driver a dialogue box comes up to tell me that the driver isn't started.
I've tried Vista & XP compatibility mode but that does not work either

With the last driver release, the blue led lights up but stiil unable to use my Spacenavigator on Windows 7. Any idea for the driver release date.

Hi,

Please create a logfile and send it to me (you will find my contact data in your Inbox).

A) Open a command-line prompt
B) CD to C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3Dconnexion 3DxSoftware\3DxWare\
C) Execute the following command:

Code: Select all

3dxsrv.exe -log

You will then find the logfile (named "3DxWare.log") in the following location:
C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\

CPU: Intel 6700@2.66GHz
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 build 7231
PE driver: 3DxSoftware v. 3.7.16
3D Application: 3dsMAX-2010

With the installed driver, all is going fast and fluent.

I just installed my spacenavigator in W7 but i can't get it to work? also the posts above a very confusing..

Can some one tell me in noob-language how i get my spacenavigator working in W7 ?
