Re: 3d connexion problem, part won't move smoothly
I believe I found a solution to this issue. Just got a SpaceMouse Enterprise, using it with Solidworks 2018 SP5. Noticed when the 3DConnexion Add-In was activated in Solidworks I could smoothly move in one direction but once I stopped and tried to change directions it would freeze for 1-3 seconds then skip ahead to where I moved. This reapeated everytime I stopped moving in a single direction and happened when moving the model with my SpaceMouse and regular mouse. If I disabled the Add-In my regular mouse immediately worked fine.
I had my SpaceMouse plugged into a USB 3.0 port but my regular mouse plugged into a USB 2.0 port. When I switched my regular mouse to a USB 3.0 so that both were in USB 3.0 ports the issue seemed to go away. Surprising but so far so good
