3DxWare64_v10-6-2_r3018 makes Rhino 5 freeze

Post by BarryZA »

Hi All

I updated the driver for my spacemouse (compact) this morning and Rhino freezes.
I uninstalled the driver and Rhino works fine, my 3d mouse still works, but I can't assign the 2 buttons anymore.
I have tried re-installing an older driver (that was working fine last week) but Rhino still freezes up.

So in a nutshell, I can't use Rhino5 (fully updated) with an old or new spacemouse driver.
I don't know if a clean driver uninstall will help?

This version is buggy, and has since been withdrawn from the driver download page, currently 3Dconnexion has reverted to old version 10.6.0 for download. I'll not downgrade to version 10.6.0, it will crash if there are two SpaceMouse Enterprise connected. Yet the LEDs Active function in 3DxWare version 10.6.2 is kaput if you want to activate/turn on the LED light, if I want to turn on the LED light, I have to click 'LEDs Active' at first and then click 'Calibrate' to let the LED light to be activated by the calibration operation itself.

Let's wait for a stable new version release.
