Can shift + left mouse button be set to middle mouse button?
I'm used to panning in AutoCAD holding only the middle mouse button.
Using Matchware MindView 7 and to pan view it requires shift + left mouse button combo.
When I try to program a macro it appears to press & release the keys/buttons without an option to hold.
I have searched around the forum but couldn't find anything myself. I see aIot of xml file editing happens, is there a way to achieve it using this method?
Many thanks. Amy.

Re: CADMouse (2D): Can I set Middle button as Shift + Left button?
Update:
I found an app called X-Mouse Button Control. It allows for extensive customisation options including application specific profiles.
Using this I was able to create a profile for Mindview, and simulate the combination I required using the "#3 During" option.
It was simple to set up and worked perfectly after I had remembered to revert the 3Dconnexion button settings to default.
Just reporting this solution here for posterity.
