Windows 7 driver issues

Post by Mork73 »

I've been using the latest Win7 driver for sometime on various versions of Catia. There are constant issues with it on both versions and it's really frustrating.
Although we are due to upgrade to Win10 there is no definite plan yet.

Can I install Win10 drivers on a Win7 installation to see if it helps?

Sure, you can. Use 7-zip to extract the 3DxWare v10.7.2 driver, and install the *.msi installer. See the screenshot.

Thanks. Is it just those ones shown that need to be installed?

It depends on what applications you have installed and what you want to do. Installing all is fine.

For more details, see the "Deploying individual .msi installers [...]" section in the Administrator Guide.
