In programs that have navigation modes, is there a way to change the default mode so that instead of automatically choosing object mode it instead chooses target camera mode when the program starts up?
For example, in ZBrush it chooses object mode by default, but I would rather use target camera mode. I can change the default mode in the appropriate file located in "C:/Program Files/3Dconnection/3DxWare/3DxWinCore/Cfg", so that when I click on the "Restore Defaults" button in the Advanced Settings menu it swaps to target camera mode and works fine for that session. However, if I close and reopen ZBrush, it goes back to object mode.
The settings work as expected that are under "Navigation", "Zoom Direction", and "Speed" as they obviously are saved somewhere since it loads them in just fine when reopening the program, but they do not under "Navigation Modes" and "Rotation Center" as they don't seem to save anywhere since it doesn't automatically load when reopening the program. Is this a bug I am unaware of or is this intended?

Re: Navigation Modes aren't Saved/Loaded
Hi liamalmerin,
It seems you have a configuration issue as any adjustments to the settings within our UI should be saved
I would recommend doing the cleaning for driver configuration by following the steps below:
Uninstall the current driver from your machine by going to Control Panel.
Once that done, please do steps 2,3,4 in our FAQ here https://3dconnexion.com/us/support/faq/ ... n-windows/ (instead of renaming the folders, please delete them)
Reboot your machine
Reinstall the current driver from our website https://3dconnexion.com/us/drivers/
Reboot your machine
Test it

Re: Navigation Modes aren't Saved/Loaded
I am having exactly the same problem - the navigation mode isn't saving for Zbrush. I tried the suggestion to uninstall the driver, delete the appdata folders, and reinstall. Unfortunately the problem remains.
