Problems with ZBRUSH split screen perspective

Post by vaell »

I have been using the enterprise version for a few months now with Zbrush and it is a great experience, once you dial down all the settings to your preferences and develop muscle memory.

It has worked well on on most things, except for a small but annoying bug while using split screen when PERSPECTIVE is activated, every single time yo move the camera, it will rotate the camera a bit and when you stop moving it will rotate back the same amount.

I believe this is due to the slight change in perspective that Zbrush uses to compensate to show the model off center ( the rotation applied depends on the direction the split screen forces the object to move).

This problem disappears when you turn perspective off, as there is no longer a change in perspective when you displace the model to a side.

This is a minor problem and there is even a solution by simply turning perspective off, I'll just leave this here in case it might help fix the issue or help someone else.
