SpacePilot for Inventor 2021

Post by Luc70 »

Hello,

I own a SpacePilot as well as Inventor 2021.
Turns out I have travel issues. As soon as I move the joystick to make a rotation for example, I have a zoom out, I will have a very, very weak rotation, and a huge zoom out.
It’s just impossible to work like this.
The buttons for the view functions work. But the real problem is the Joystick.

I tried the 10.4.3 and 10.4.10 drivers but that doesn’t seem to solve the problem.
It is important to note that the hardware behaves very well in the test space of 3D connection Home, and that no anomaly at the level of the joystick has been noted.

How can I make it work?
Knowing that buying a new spacemouse is not in my current plans.

Please excuse me for the translation errors, being French, it is not simple.

If the problem only exists in Inventor, it is likely to be in your saved user cfg file.

Stop Inventor and the 3DxWare driver.
Then delete %appdata%\3dconnexion\3dxware\cfg\Inventor.xml

Restart the driver, then Inventor.
Let us know if that fixes it.
