Fusion 360 poor performance

Post by usernamechecksout »

Hi guys, I have a 8700k and 1080ti and am experiencing lag with my spacemouse pro. With really simple models it only hiccups occasionally but as soon as I try to manipulate anything more complex I get really low framerate and lag. There is never any lag when just using the regular mouse. I've updated all my drivers etc no success.

Hi usernamechecksout,

Have you tried calibrating the device? You can calibrate the device by checking this FAQ https://3dconnexion.com/us/support/faq/ ... -to-drift/
If its still an issue then you might need to update the firmware on your device in which you have to contact our Technical Support Team to get that information. You can either create a case here https://3dconnexion.com/us/support-request/ or call via phone here https://3dconnexion.com/us/support/#

Also, try to test the issue in our Viewer to see if its happening there as well.
- Open 3Dconnexion Home
- Click on Viewer
- Test it

I fixed it by enabling this SpaceMouse SDK 4 preview enabled under Preferences>preview features.
