INVENTOR camera mode: 3D Part Vs 2D Drawing

Post by Wuatuna »

Hi everyone,

I have a SpaceMouse Compact and I use it mainly with Inventor 2020.

After some time, I was wondering if it is possible to set different camera modes for the part/assembly environment and the drawing environment.
What I mean is that I'd like to have different zoom settings: forward/backward zoom direction for 3D modelling (ipt and iam files) but up/down zoom direction for 2D drawings (idw files).

It seems like i can only change the button settings between the environments but not the camera mode.
Is there something that I'm missing or is it not possible at all?

Current driver: 3DxWare 10 (v. 10.8.3)
OS: Windows 10

Thanks!

Not possible now, you can send your feature request to developers.

As I suspected.
What a pity!

Thank you, luping!
