An unhandled exception occured in your 3Dxware driver sessio

Post by davec »

This message appears after a restart of Windows XP. The use of the SpaceExplorer in Solid Works seems to be unaffected. I would like not having to deal with this at each restart. I have reloaded the driver several times from this site. Thanks.

An unhandled exception occured in your 3Dxware driver sessio

Hi davec

Do you get this message only after restarting Windows XP?

What happens when you normally boot the computer?

Did you got any error number or something what could be relevant for your case?

Hi davec,

This error dialog box should also offer to save a crash dump file. If it does, please save it and send it in to 3Dconnexion. It could help us to diagnose the problem.

Thanks, there are no error numbers given. Where do I send the error file?

Unhandled Exception Resolution?

Post by kthompson »

Has this issue been resolved? I have what appears to be the same problem. Installed the latest drivers today and still a problem upon booting up my system.

Windows XP Prof. SP2.0 32bit

Go to this thread and perform a clean install
Sounds llike a registry entry is corrupted.

Problem Solved

Post by kthompson »

Thanks...this appears to have solved the issue as the first re-boot with the new "clean install" did not result in the un-handled error!
