I went to site a couple weeks ago, everything working, Navis and Revit cruising along fine. Foremen are amazed at my agility in the model.
Get home, and suddenly it's lost its rhythm. Movements are jerky especially when I'm moving in two or more directions (e.g. simultaneously walking forward and descending, or forward/descending/turning).
Downloaded new drivers (3DxWare64_v10-8-4_r3407) and still jerky.
Windows 10, Revit 2020, Navis Manage 2020, Dell Precision 7530, long time user.
Please help! I feel like the mouse is practically useless now since it gives me motion sickness and hurts my eyes, I've gone back to just keyboard and regular mouse. It's that bad. Hope to hear some good news!!

Re: Spacemouse Wireless Got Covid
I'd check for wireless interference. Connect it through the USB cable to check.
Re: Spacemouse Wireless Got Covid
Yes forgot to mention that was one of the first things I tried.
I know what you're talking about but it doesn't resolve anything right now.
When I assemble a navis model via shared coordinates, everything is smooth, everything is good.
However, client wanted internal coordinates so his foremen can take better measurements (avoids the use of "perpendicular" measurement button).
This internal coordinate model is where I encounter the issues.
Strangely enough, a lot of my navis models from 5/6 years ago were always assembled via internal coordinates and this spacemouse always worked perfectly.
Now it's acting like it doesn't know how to handle all the degrees of motion together.

Hello,
Thanks, I already tried that as soon as I noticed the problem.

Re: Spacemouse Wireless Got Covid
If you are getting only one direction at a time, there is an option in the GUI under Advanced Settings to enable/disable that.
The "Dominant" CheckBox. If it is on, turn it off.

Re: Spacemouse Wireless Got Covid
Thanks for replying.
I checked and it didn't affect anything.
fyi, I am able to travel in an arc but only along a large radius. Any tighter and the rotate movement dominates my forward motion.
Re: Spacemouse Wireless Got Covid
Does the device work "correctly" in our demos or other programs?
In Revit vs Navisworks?
If so, then I'd lean toward it being a software or configuration problem.
If not, then a hardware problem.
