3DxWare Constantly Crashes

Post by FairlyAnnoyed »

I'd really like to get this straightened out.

I'm using a SpaceMouse Wireless with 3DxWare v10.8.7, and 3DxWare constantly crashes for me.

Sometimes is crashes immediately after booting my PC, sometimes it crashes randomly when I'm not even using the SpaceMouse.

Often I can restart the application and be fine, sometimes is takes a few times, but I've done 20+ restarts of the application tonight, and it just will not run.

Any help in resolving this issue would be much appreciated.

TIA

See this post for a way to collect crash files to send to us.

Thank you @jwick

The outputted zip file is 43,381 KB so I cannot attached it here.

To whom may I send this file, and by what method, for tech support review?

If I need to not enable logging, or not include reg. entries to reduce file size, please so confirm.

Tech support

The log file is usually the most important.
In your case, the dmp files are important. We probably only need one or two of them if you have many.
The registry is probably not important, and can be reproduced by you if we think we need it.

Attaching the one .dmp file outputted to this post results in an invalid file extension error.

Same with the .log files.

I assume you're after 3DxService.log but there's a total of 7 .log files in the outputted .zip file.

If I'm supposed to be sending these another way, please so advise.

Did you contact tech support through the link I posted?
They will be able to help you collect the files to send to them. If they need to escalate, they will forward them to me.
