SketchUp Pro 2023 & paperweight (i.e. SpaceMouse Wireless)

Post by kizmokd »

Can I get any help with getting SpaceMouse Wireless to work with SketchUp Pro 2023 (Version 23.0.419 64-bit on MS-Windows 11)? Yes, I have downloaded and run installer for 3DxWare 64_v10-8-12_r3545.

SketchUp forums say that latest driver for macOS fixed the incompatibilities on that platform and SketchUp 2023 and SpaceMouse Wireless now works great. Can we get some love for those of us on MS-Windows 11?

I'd really like to use the SpaceMouse, but for most of the time that I've had it, it's been an expensive paperweight :-(

Support for SketchUp 2023 was included in v. 10.8.11 of 3DxWare 10, published back in November last.

There was no mention in the release notes the SketchUp 2023 had yet to be officially release and the information was restricted.

Basically, using anything from v. 10.8.11 and onwards should have worked for you. If it does not, there is something else blocking the support and I recommend getting in touch with my colleagues in the Technical Support team.
