Does spacepilot support the Inventor view 1,0?

As this has been a while since the question was asked...is the support available at this moment? for Inventor 11 Viewer? or higher version?

Hi SBuurma,

No I don't think so. As far as I have seen there is no "Plug-in"-interface available for the viewer - so the only possibility would be to contact Autodesk and ask them to integrate support for 3DConnexion input devices. We would also appreciate if you could post any feedback you receive from them for the benefit of other forum-users (including myself 8) ).

Is there any update to this issue?
I'm using Inventor View 2012 and the SpacePilot does not work.
Is it because there's no plugin available? Will we get one sometime?
Or is there already a plugin an I have configured something wrong?

There is no add-in or plugin for the viewer.
Please contact Autodesk and ask them to implement support.

It's strange, but there have been a couple times while using Inventor view where my Spacepilot Pro has worked, for zooming and panning, for drawings only. I thought I imagined it, but I was able to switch to a part model (where it didn't work) back to a drawing and it worked again.

I can't get it to work all the time though. It seems to be a random occurrence.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I would be nice to have a plug-in for it .
