Windows 8, Google Earth WebApp & Driver

Post by LCurtis1 »

Our company currently uses the Space Navigator in Google Earth. We currently developed a WebApp that uses the Google Earth interface (API) and so far your beta driver (3DxWare64SPP_v10-0-16_r1544) allows our employees to use your mouse within this WebApp.

We've recently learned that we will all be switching over to Windows 8 and after contacting your team, I have the understanding that 3D Connexion will no longer have a driver that will support the use of the mouse in a WebApp that has Windows 8.

Hoping and praying that this isn't true as all of our employees will need use of the mouse with the WebApp! Halp!

Who said this?
How are you using the 3D mouse in the Web App? Did you write an interface?

You misread the users question they have an app that is currently recognized with the Beta driver but is not when using the standard driver.
They most likely have been using the Standard Mouse interface which is currently not enabled in the current driver.
