SpacePilot Pro doesn't work in 3ds max

Hi sarah6k6,

which version of 3dsmax do you have? And which version of the driver is installed?
Have you tried a "repair" installation?

3ds max 2014 ( 64 bits)
3dconnexion 3dxware10 (64 bits)


and yes i did do a repair installation of the mouse's driver and i reinstalled 3ds max 2014

but still my problem was not solved ....
and i guess i know where the problem is :

WHEN i go to customize and then to plug-in manager AND
then i don't find that the 3dxware in loaded at all

which version of 3DxWare 10 do you have? Open the properties (3D Mouse Home -> Properties) and then click to "About". It opens another windows that shows the version of 3DxWare and the firmware version of your 3D mouse. Please let me know what you find out.

It's common issue for me,
when SpaceMouse Pro doesn't work, I unplug and replug USB dongle (without exit 3dsmax), and then it works.

Hi all, this is my solution.

Copy 3DxStudio.gup from C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxStudio\Contents\win64\2018, now paste in this root, if it's not done, create it C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\3dxstudio.bundle\contents\win64\2018.
