Space Traveler won't stick

This thing won't stick to my desk surface for krap.
I'm assuming that's what the rubber gasket is for... to create suction, so you can life on the puck.
I wonder if anyone, with a glass top desk (the perfect senario) can get it to suck-down well enough to use it.

Anyone?

Unfortunately the rubber gasket could not create suction. It is only to provide more adherence with the surface on which you put the SpaceTraveler. This surface should be a horizontal one.
