Spacemouse Wireless (Buetooth version) Charging indicator LED

I received my SpaceMouse Wireless today and after installing drivers and setting up I decided to fully charge it.

I left it on charge for 8 hours and the Green LED was still flashing which according to the manual means it is still charging and once charged it will be Steady Green.

I checked the status of the SpaceMouse in the windows driver and it states it's charge state is 100%

So why is the Green LED still flashing when it looks like the battery is full and how can this be resolved?

Un-plug it, and it's done.
