I am having trouble getting the SpaceNavigator to work with Microsoft Virtual Earth 3D. I am running Windows Vista 32-bit edition. I have installed the most recent driver, reinstalled Virtual Earth 3D, and tested to confirm that the device is working great with Google Earth. I've also tried the suggestions here:

Tried the 3DConnexion support line and been cast away telling me they can't support me on the phone since I only have the personal edition.
Looking for any advice from others that have experienced the same problem and managed to resolve it.

Try the steps from the link provided
below post. I would highly suggest using the installer and run 3dxsrv.exe with administrator rights.
Locate the file (C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3Dconnexion 3DxSoftware\3DxWare\3dxsrv.exe) rightclick and select properties click on compatibilities and check (Run as administrator).
