Installed updated driver 3DXSOFTWARE3.6.4 and have problems

After installing the updated driver the function of my SpacePilot is not as smooth and will only move in one plane at a time. I had no problems with Inventor 2009 before the driver update.

I am using Vista Business 64 bit and Inventor 2009

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Please open the Button Mapping Editor and go to "Device Settings". Is "Dominant"-mode enabled there?
You could also try to start with a clean Inventor-configuration:

1. Stop 3DxWare and disconnect your 3D Mouse
2. Go to %appdata%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\profiles
3. Create a new folder named "backup" and move all .scg-files there
4. Re-connect your 3D Mouse and start the driver

The dominant mode was enabled, once I unchecked it there was no problem.
