LED Disable is unintendedly Enabled while waking Windows

Post by henryjanssen »

Hello,

I disabled the blue LED in my Space Navigator.

LED Disable is unintendedly Enabled again while I wake Windows from Sleep Mode.

In the Menu the "LED Disable marker" remains marked when the blue LED's in the Space Navigator light up again.

What must I do to keep the blue LED's disabled permanently?

Thank you for your response, Kind regards

Hello henryjanssen,

Sorry but there is not currently a way of doing this. I'll file an enhancement request for adding this functionality.

Hello,
I noticed the exact same thing. I use the latest drivers on my vista 64 sp1. Any news on this one?
And I am new here so what does "tracking number 4469" mean?

Thanks.

Hey, that's a coincidence. Last post is exactly a year ago! :)

Hi Mitchell,

We track issues with our software using an internal database. The "number" is how you can reference one in particular.

Enhancement 4469 is marked to be resolved in an upcoming revision of our software, The schedule for that new version is not yet public.

What's the current status of "enhancement 4469"?

I installed an update a few days ago, LEDs stayed off for two days even after reboot and wake up from hibernate. Since last wake up they're on and I'm not able to find a way to turn them off.
There's currently a black bag over the puck. I wish I could open the puck and remove these horrible LEDs

In the mean time you could try setting the device power management properties to allow wake. I was having this problem on vista 64 bit.

Device manager => Human interface device => HID-compliant device => Power management tab => check allow this device to wake computer.

This fixed it for me hope it works for others.
