Best driver option for Softimage 2013 user? SpacemouseCompact

Post by lliaolsen »

I've tried getting Softimage 2013 to work with the 3DCONNEXION Wired Spacemouse Compact with very limited results, I can only zoom in. Checking boxes in the 3Dconnexion properties window doesn't seems to enable any additional navigation. Would older drivers have the available XSI addon, or driver? Browsing through the forum it seems as though you supported the software with at least one device, for a time.

- Zbrush 2022 works great
- Poser 11 works great after I fixed it's inverted controls.
- Haven't tried Maya 2009 yet

Thanks

Autodesk no longer supports Softimage software development.
See here:
https://www.autodesk.com/products/softimage/overview
Autodesk plans to provide support and maintenance services to Softimage customers with active Autodesk Subscription contracts until April 30, 2016 or until the end of their contract in cases where an existing contract has a later expiry date.
How can your able to activate a 2013 version Softimage licence legally?
