SpaceNavigator serial can't get the control panel to show up

Hello, Sir

I'm getting a Space Explorer serial ;

After installed the 3.0 driver/software from enclosed 3Dconnexion CD , I can't get the control panel to show up. Nothing happened after I click the start driver

How to solve this problem? I'm on windows xp 32-bit.

In another way , I wan download new driver from http://www.3dconnexion.com/support/downloads.php , but there don't have windows os for space explorer serial , Where can I download it?

Space Explorer Serial devices are only supported on:
UNIX (HP-UX 11, IBM AIX 5.2, Sun Solaris 8 or greater)
Linux (Redhat Enterprise Linux WS 3, SuSE 9.0 or greater

I would suggest contacting the place of purchase and getting it exchanged for the USB version.
