SpaceNavigator PE effects PDFs, but not Google Earth

Got a new Space Navigator PE yesterday for use with Google Earth. Installed the latest drivers, and checked the 'Enable Controller' box in Google Earth's navigation tab.

Adjusting the SN in any direction has no effect while using Google Earth, yet we can get it to zoom around PDF files so we know it's connected and functioning.

Using WinXP, latest drivers for SpaceNav PE, and Google Earth v4.3. Any ideas how we can get this working?

Dear pilsun,

Make sure the 3Dconnexion driver has started before opening browser and Google Earth.
