Does it make a difference if you do not
  • sudo /etc/3DxWare/daemon/3dxsrv -debug -d usb
but
  • su -
    /etc/3DxWare/daemon/3dxsrv -debug -d usb
?

I try to log in as root user and it's work, but I don't want to log in as root.
Some ideas?

If you just do a
  • xhost +
without specifying the localhost?

What version of SuSE do you have?

Hi,
It might be a problem with fonts. I had a similar error on Ubuntu, and when I added two folders with fonts, 100dpi and 75dpi (lucindas) to /etc/X11/fonts that fixed the problem

Best wishes, Karolina

Can you please tell this adding two folders with fonts in detail?
I mean do describe it step by step.
