CAD Mouse hangs for several seconds after 10.8.0

After 10.8.0 the CAD Mouse (via BT) hangs (moves around, but doesn't click on anything) for several seconds at a time if KiCad is open.
Manually changing focus (Cmd+Tab) to another app "releases" the mouse.
Also after 10.8.0 the Space Mouse is completely dead until I remove/reinsert the USB dongle.

Version 10.8.1 of 3DxWare 10 for macOS was published today, June 20, 2023, and includes a fix for this issue (no CadMouse clicks when switching windows).
