view buttons stopped working in Rhino only

MacBook Pro Max M2 16'

It's real strange: The View buttons stopped working, But only in Rhino, they still work correctly in Zbrush [ I Don't have other applicable apps to check on]
All other buttons still work correctly in Rhino!
1) I checked the assigned hotkey and Macros, they all work correctly with the keyboard, and they all look correct in the 3Dx setting.
2) I asked in the Rhino Forum.... someone suggested reinstalling the 3Dx driver.... But I'm weary of loosing my settings !
[I did export the settings, but I'm not very confident they will all work again correctly once importing. Also I'm not very clear how to remove the driver, I seems to recall from some years ago that this is quite complicated ...?

Any ideas what could be the issue here? and what I can try to do to get this fixed.
