Revit Zoom in 3d vs 2d

Post by kevineri »

I am having trouble configuring my device to meet my needs in Revit. The issue is that the zoom sensitivity is incredibly high in 3d views compared with 2d views. So if I have my zoom speed set for 3d viewing, then when I switch to a 2d view, the zoom is incredibly slow and vice versa. I cannot simply increase/decrease the overall speed of the device using a button assignment because the pan and rotate axes are more friendly to switching between views with the same sensitivity. I can manually adjust the zoom speed when I switch views, but this sort of defeats the purpose of having the device, which is to provide efficiency. Is there a way to configure my device so that I can move seamlessly between 3d and 2d views in Revit regarding the zoom speed?

Thanks in advance.
