10.8.2 and Fusion360 env mapping

Post by liam821 »

I've been using a SpaceNavigator for many years. I ran into a problem where Fusion kept crashing and it was recommended to upgrade my 3DxWare 10 drivers - I was running an old version. Fine. I upgraded. That stopped Fusion from crashing, but it deleted all my axes mapping. I turn all the axis settings backward, so in is out, right is left, left is right, and so on. I changed it all back, no big deal, and went on with my life. But I noticed in sketchup mode, it defaulted back. What? I went and looked in the settings, there are now ENV mapping settings for all the different functions in Fusion. So Solid, Surface, Mesh, Plastics, Metals, etc, and who knows how many others I need to change. How can there not be a single "reverse origination" button?!

There just has to be an easy way to change the axes across the board and make how I like it as default. I've already changed "Any Application" but it looks like the Fusion 360 configuration overwrites any.

3DxWare 10.8.2 on MacOS.
